My role as Director was to develop training, programs, assist with planning backcountry expeditions, coordinate emergency efforts, create/manage budgets, secure permits and outfitters in addition to interfacing with parents and stakeholders. Corporate shut the program down after 6 months. I was last in, first out with this realignment.

Duties include, but are not limited to, developing new camp programming, training staff, hiring staff, running programs, and interfacing with the campers. The facilities side is caretaking for the 160-acre parcel of land and 33 buildings ranging in size from a single bedroom cabin to a 181-seat dining hall. The work requires hands on to executing contracts in the $50,000 range, capitol purchases for programming and facilities.
